Web Developer - CMS, CSS, HTML
We are recruiting a Web Developer to work alongside and lead our web designers at Web Intelligent Marketing Ltd in Guildford.
This role involves some client facing and a strong technical grasp, therefore the successful candidate must have a good balance of design and the strategic side of implementing and integrating CMS, as well as maintaining good relationships with customers and supervising a small team to deliver the projects. Strong incident management and change is also very important.
Responsibilities will include:
Design and produce intuitive online solutions such as Web pages and application front-ends.
Develop data driven admin consoles with a focus and recognition of customer useability.
Revamp and upgrade existing client web sites.
Working to project deadlines leading the web design team to project completion of structured project briefs.
Maintaining system based work records.
All developer aspects of online/web based solutions including templates, graphics and application front-ends
Providing guidance and recommendations and estimates to internal staff with regard to design, integration, usability and accessibility best practices
Proactively maintain good knowledge of emerging technologies thereby continuously evolving our capability to meet and exceed clients needs and expectations.
Create and maintain all necessary documentation to agreed standards.
Skills MUST include:
Excellent and high level experience of HTML, XHTML, CSS, Adobe CS
High level knowledge of W3C, Accessibility and Usability best practice
JavaScript and AJAX
Experience of developing online solutions across multiple browsers and devices
Experience of designing bespoke CMS (content management systems)
Knowledge of ASP.Net (C# or VB)
Working within Windows server environments
Familiarity with integration of online e-commerce products (not off the shelf packages such as actinic ) services with the payment gateways - barclays/hsbc/worldpay
Flexible approach, self motivated, accurate and organised.
